Shawn grew up in North Easton, MA graduating from Oliver Ames High School in 2004. He participated in multiple sports through high school including lacrosse, football, track, baseball, basketball, and roller hockey. Outside of school Shawn always remained active with mountain biking, skateboarding, and hiking.
Shawn continued his education at Bridgewater State University earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Communication with a focus on Marketing and Public Relations. He was a member of Kappa Delta Phi and organized many philanthropic events for the community. Also, Shawn was awarded with two grants for research projects he composed for the National Communication Association and the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education.
Upon graduation Shawn started to work for Traveler’s Insurance. However, being from an active background, he searched for career options that would let him be on his feet more. In an effort to become more active outside of work, he became a certified personal trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine.
Taking interesting in training clients that needed additional help, he searched for careers in Physical Therapy. Shawn decided to explore a Physical Therapist Assisting program at Mount Wachusett Community College. He then moved to Oxford to complete the program.
After graduation in 2015, Shawn moved to Cape Cod with his Fiancé Caitlyn to start his new career as a PTA. Shawn and Caitlyn were married on May 14, 2016 and later bought a home in Centerville. In November of 2017 Shawn started working at Falmouth Physical Therapy.
Shawn likes to spend his free time traveling with his wife and hiking in the White Mountains. He also enjoys performing as a magician throughout New England, cooking, and playing with his dog Bailey.
